IMPORTANT NOTICE TO ALL TAXPAYERS:
Effective October 1, 2026, the administration and collection of the Bay County Tourist Development Tax will transition from the Bay County Clerk’s Office to the Bay County Tax Collector’s Office. Both offices are working closely together to ensure a smooth and seamless transition for all taxpayers.
At the point of transition, the Tax Collector’s Office is aiming to keep changes to a minimum. Your current payment process and tax‑reporting system will remain the same for now, and any future updates will be communicated well in advance.
Please continue to visit our website periodically for updated information as the transition progresses. Additionally, important notices will be sent to the contact information we have on file. If your email, phone number, or mailing address has changed, please update it to ensure you receive all communications.
